Educational Therapy in West Los Angeles
From the Heart Learning Solutions provides dynamic, engaging academic intervention for
students with learning disabilities and other learning differences. I work with students to
find what sparks their curiosity, then use that spark to address the underlying causes of academic struggle.
What is Educational Therapy?
Educational Therapy is 1:1 intervention for students that seeks to improve academic performance by increasing self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-advocacy. Educational therapy differs from tutoring in that tutoring typically addresses specific subjects, while educational therapy addresses the subject difficulty through the root cause.
How Can I Help?
I work with students with learning differences, learning disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders who struggle within these areas: Reading, Writing, Math, Organization, Study Skills and Self-Confidence. I focus on the underlying neurodevelopmental area where the struggle is occurring.
