At From the Heart Learning Solutions, we help students with learning disabilities and other learning differences explore both. We go beyond surface-level strategies to address the root causes of academic struggle, while tapping into each student's curiosity and passions to make learning feel possible, even exciting. Our goal is to help each learner uncover the superhero within.

What is Educational Therapy?

Educational therapy is one-on-one support for students that goes beyond academic performance to build self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-advocacy. While tutoring typically addresses specific subjects, educational therapy digs deeper — working to understand and address the root causes of academic struggle so students can grow as learners and as people.

How Can We Help?

We support students with learning differences, learning disabilities, and neurodevelopmental disorders across a range of areas, including Reading, Writing, Math, Organization, Study Skills, Executive Function, and Academic Confidence. Rather than focusing only on the surface-level struggle, we look at the underlying neurodevelopmental factors at play — and build from there.

Getting Started

Before our first session, we take time to get to know your child. Our intake process gives us a full picture of a student's background, history, and needs — and ensures that we are connected with everyone who supports your child, both in and out of the classroom, from day one.

Sessions

This is where the journey begins. We work alongside each student to uncover the root causes of their academic struggles, tapping into their strengths and curiosity to build the skills and confidence they need to become independent, successful learners.

Case Management

Every child learns within a larger ecosystem — teachers, therapists, specialists, and caregivers all play a role. We make it a priority to stay connected with everyone on your child's team, sharing insights, aligning strategies, and bringing people together when needed.

Family Support

We work with families and caregivers to build strategies for the moments that happen outside of sessions — from homework routines and task initiation to morning transitions and everything in between.

Session Options

We offer in-office, in-home, in-school, and virtual sessions to best accommodate your child and your schedule.
